The World Economic Forum estimates that by the year 2050, there will be more plastic straws in the ocean than fish! 

Straws...kids love to use them, restaurants use an abundance of them... but they are destroying our ocean life!

To eliminate them entirely is a tough battle against the convenience factor. The Recycling Committee  We have a Zero Waste Box for the deposit of plastic straws available at the monthly recycling depot TerraCycle is accepting plastic straws and commit to recycling them responsibly and we have a zero waste box available, however we’d like to encourage the use of straws that are more eco-friendly (i.e. stainless steel straws or compostable straws)
