The Municipal Court is an independent branch of government constitutionally entrusted with the fair and just resolution of disputes in order to preserve the rule of law and to protect the rights and liberties guaranteed by the Constitution and laws of the United States and this state.
The Municipal Court Administrator has information on a Community Dispute Resolution Program, which utilizes trained volunteers from the community to mediate minor disputes. It is an option for cases involving people with on-going relationships such as neighbors, friends, relatives, co-workers, etc., and it is available to every resident of this community.
Contact the Municipal Court Administrator if you are interested in learning more about this program.
