The East Amwell Farm Project

Township Committee & Planning Board Special Meeting
TOMORROW, Thursday 28th January, 7.30pm

East Amwell Township is excited to announce a very special meeting on Thursday, January 28th , 2021 at 7:30 PM to discuss the ‘Farm Project’. This will be a joint meeting of the Township Committee and the Planning Board. It will be conducted virtually via Zoom and also in-person at the Municipal Building. There will be a three-part presentation to discuss the results of the Farm Project’s first phase. Speakers will review:

1. Amwell Valley Agricultural District Analysis- Elena Gable
   • Build Out Analysis Report - Elena Gable
2. The Changing Nature Of NJ Farming - Mike Mills
3. Potential Initiatives that would help make local farming economically sustainable- Tamara Lee
   • Farm Project Summary Paper - Tamara Lee

Following these presentations, members of the public will be invited to ask questions and/or offer comments, thoughts, reactions and perspective (5 minute limitation per person).
